Brett Baker

Brett Baker is a Partner at The Nickles Group, a federal consulting firm in Washington, DC. Brett previously worked for the Senate Finance Committee where he held key health staff positions under Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-UT), Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA), and Ranking Member Mike Crapo (R-ID). Prior to his service in the Senate, Brett worked for the House Ways and Means Committee under Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI) and Chairman Paul Ryan (R-WI). In those roles, he focused on Medicare payment policy and health information technology issues, playing a pivotal role in the enactment of numerous health care laws. Brett began his career at the American College of Physicians, representing internists on payment and health care delivery issues. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the Pennsylvania State University.
