Anand Raghavan

Anand Raghavan is the co-founder and CTO of HealthEx. He is a computer scientist with a proven track record of product and engineering leadership at every stage of company growth – from early stage startups to public Fortune 50 enterprises – over the last two decades.

HealthEx helps people securely access and share their health records with trusted services, apps, AI agents and wherever else their care journey may take them. It gives individuals full control—managing identity, consent, data scopes, transparency, and access. Built on federal standards, HealthEx makes health data sharing secure, simple, and user-directed. Anand co-founded HealthEx in 2022, and it is now a Series A startup backed by General Catalyst and Electric Capital. The company was recently recognized as one of the first TEFCA IAS providers in the country, and is actively working towards the CMS Pledge to build a patient-centric healthcare system.

Prior to HealthEx, he was part of the founding team & VP of Engineering at BlueJeans, where he co-led its development over a decade into a leading provider of cloud-based video conferencing software and services critical to the daily business of major companies across the world. BlueJeans was acquired by Verizon in 2020, following which he bootstrapped and built a new Digital Health business unit combining VZ’s assets in devices and spectrum with BlueJeans’ collaboration stack. Prior to VZ/BJN, he built and led teams at Microsoft & Yahoo.

Anand holds several patents at the intersection of security, user experience and protocol interoperability. He graduated with Honors from UC Berkeley with a degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, and a diploma in Management of Engineering & Innovation.
