Before entering the legal profession, Sara worked as a surgical/trauma and cardiovascular intensive care unit nurse and co-led a multidisciplinary initiative focused on reducing readmissions among cardiothoracic surgery patients at a major health system. Her clinical and project management experience provides a practical understanding of the operational, technological, and regulatory challenges facing health care organizations.
