David Silk

David Silk is Managing Director of Strategic Operations at the Peterson Health Technology Institute (PHTI), where he oversees the institute’s assessment process and operations. He directs the teams responsible for conducting the clinical, economic, and technology research that informs PHTI’s independent evaluations and supports evidence-based adoption of digital health technologies.

Over the past 20 years, David has built product, commercial, and policy functions across healthcare and technology organizations. Prior to PHTI, he held senior leadership roles at TMRW Life Sciences and Butterfly Network, where he guided the launch and commercialization of innovative healthcare technologies while developing the organizational capabilities needed to support growth and adoption.

Earlier, David was a member of the leadership team at Google Cloud Healthcare and Life Sciences, helping providers, payers, and life sciences organizations adopt cloud, data, and AI-enabled technologies to improve healthcare delivery and research. He began his career at Pfizer and Avalere Health, where he specialized in reimbursement, market access, and health policy strategy for pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

David holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and an MBA in Healthcare Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
