Stetson Berg, MHA

Stetson Berg, MHA, serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for UnitedHealthcare Community & State in New Mexico, leading technology strategy and digital transformation to improve healthcare access. He brings 21 years of information technology experience, including 16 years dedicated specifically to healthcare.

Previously, Stetson directed telehealth operations for the entire UNM Health System, expanding digital care access across the state before and during COVID. His background also includes interning at and helping legislatively advocate for health information exchanges like Syncronys, as well as technical and leadership roles for organizations like Apple and UNM Hospital. In addition, he leverages clinical experience as a cognitive enhancement and substance abuse therapist for vulnerable populations in New Mexico. Across his leadership career, he has focused on the benefits interoperability offers patient care, streamlining data sharing to enhance patient outcomes.
